this plant grows alongside the road in sunny, sandy location in Cranberry Lake, New York in the northwestern part of the Adirondack State Park - altitude between 1490-1500 feet. Some who have seen it say it is poison ivy; others who have seen swear it is not. No one has volunteered to walk through it. The Department of Environmental Conservation responsible for this part of the Adirondack park say they have never seen or heard of any poison ivy in this part of the park. Supposedly it does not grow above 1500 feet. The plant is spreading into the woods and starting to grow up a tree near by. You have my permission to use the pictures.
