I got poison ivy a month and 1/2 ago and vowed never to get it again. Pulled the same dumb weed, knowing it was supsicious and wiped my face, washed my hands but the oil stayed on my eye and cheek all day. I went through one round of steroids which kept away most of the blisters (thank goodness) then got a shot on day 4 and 2 more weeks of steroids. Never again! By the way I suspect the plant came in with some new bushes I planted. There are only two spot in my yard that had this and they were bushes from the same nursery.
