I recently broke out with a horrible rash that spread quickly on my arms, face & neck. It was similar to poison ivy - fluid filled clusters of bumps. It also caused a pigmentation problem on the back of my neck. I had walked my dog a couple of days before I broke out and thought she may have wandered into some poison ivy. I had also done some yard work. My dermatologist diagnosed my rash as poison ivy and gave me Prednisone. However, it never really itched as much as I thought poison ivy would. A couple of weeks later after the rash was pretty much gone, I did lots of yard work, pulling a nasty vine that we have growing in and around a lot of our bushes and trees. The vine looks like it might be the Trumpet Creeper/Vine based on pics on your site. Sure enough I broke out again the day after doing the yard work. Here are pics of the vine. Are you familiar with poison ivy or an allergic reaction to the Trumpet Creeper causing a pigmentation problem? Is the rash from Trumpet Creeper not as itchy as Poison Ivy? Also, is Trumpet Creeper harmful to my dog? Thank you!
