I forgot to mention in my first message that the area is central Iowa. I found this plant growing up out of a pasture of long grass and also along the edge of a grove of trees growing as stand alone plants. The pictures were taken of the plants growing in the grass. The images include only the pasture grass and the plants in question. You have my permission to use this information on your site. I will be sending 4 images.
