Answer: Hi Larry -
That little gem has had me turning my head on more than one occasion. The key to identification is that the leaves are opposite on the stem. Take a look and you'll see 2 leaves opposite each other on the stem of the plant. As the tree grows you'll see some leaves with 5 leaflets. This is one of those scrub plants that seem to pop up everywhere (where it is found that is). |
