Question Asked: What do you think? Are either of the plants (left or right) poison ivy? This is in my Illinois back yard in the shade. We have it fenced off to try and keep the dogs away from it. I think we need better fencing, as I suspect this is the real thing.

I believe this is the real thing as well. If you look closely I'm betting that both sets of 3 leaflets are coming from the same vine. It's amazing the variations of leaflets on the same plant. From the picture you sent in, it certainly looks like those are from the same vine. If this is all you have, it should be pretty easy to get rid of. |
