Question Asked: Pictures taken in Central Illinois on south side of house (shady), under a tree/bush.
Answer: Diana - these weeds are safe to pull. There's no poison ivy in sight. Some keys to identification of poison ivy are:
- 3 leaflet leaves alternating on the vine
- middle leaflet on a longer stalk
- leaflets egg-shaped
- aerial rootets (look like little fat roots) along vine
I know this plant but the name is escaping me at the moment. Maybe someone else knows? |
