| On this picture of poison ivy taking over a whole tree... I had a couple such vines running up a tree very near to my back door. The trunk vine was just over an inch in diameter and the leaves were up to 10 inches long! The best way to kill a poison ivy vine like that is to cut out a section of the trunk vine and let it dry out (give it at least 3 weeks to be safe) if you feel like you have to pull it out of your tree, if you have one that big. |
