This plant has calcium oxalate crystals in the sap. If it gets on your skin it can be highly irritating, more like a chemical 'burn' than poison ivy. The tiny crystals are like horrible microscopic cactus spines or shards of glass embedded in your skin... and the abrasion to your skin can lead to infection too. Don't rub it. Don't put alcohol or other harsh chemicals. Wash well with water and maybe go for an antibacterial ointment or spray. Learned the hard way myself :p !!
