thunderwood, which is found in dense wooded areas along with saw briers and various other brambles, is different than sumac. it is a very slender tree about 1 to 3 inches in diameter. it has thorns similar to the black locust tree. be very careful when dealing with one; because it can infect the skin by a scratch making the skin rot and peel off. cure.. 2 shot of penicillin followed by a broad spectrum antibiotic pill taken for several weeks. keep it cleaned and wrapped. |
