We used to mix that up at my father's pharmacy on Long Island, years ago. People used to ask for it all the time. I didn't get poison ivy reactions back then (sure do now!) so I never actually used ti on myself. I remember it had rubbing alcohol, ether (!!!) talc and calamine powder in a suspension.
Since the ether is so explosive I doubt they use that anymore, but who knows. |
