Hi - I was wondering if anyone knows if it is okay to plant around these trees. I have several and have been thinking of chopping down a few and planting fruit trees, but I am wondering if the remaining roots would cause any problems regarding the ripened fruit (I am sure the "poison" comes from the leaves and fruit of the trees, but I want to make certain before I plant anything by them.
