I first got poison ivy or oak on a golf course 5 years ago. Every year since the rash has returned at the same time of the year and it starts in the exact same place on my arms. It then spreads to different part of my body every year from the bottom of my feet to the top of my head and each year it gets worse. Three doctors have told me that I must have had contact each year, but I know this is not correct. I agree with the people that say it does get into your blood stream and is triggered for various reasons after that. Two many people have experienced what I have to deny the fact that it does come back without actual contact with the plant.
