| when I was a kid (up till about age 14) I had a stepfather who was a little less strict about watching us who used to take us up to a fishing hole that had poison ivy in the area. I used to explore around and typically in shorts and flip flops if not barefoot, and I used to get comments from my parents and brother about walking through poison ivy patches a lot, barefoot and with shorts on, but I never once reacted, I didn't even know what it looked like. I am now 19, I would never seek out poison ivy obviously, but what are the chances I have lost my immunity? |
