I would love to know if any of you still have these outbreaks now, eight years later. I had a severe case covering most of my torso a while back. After resolving it With a shot and a 10-day round of steroids, weeks later it slowly reemerged in most of the exact same spots -- like it had only been repressed or something. Re-exposure is not a possibility. The first rash was so bad, I threw everything away that could have possibly been contaminated. I wasn't taking any chances. Plus, what are the chances, if I HAD been exposed again, that it would be an identical rash pattern? I can't find any information except blog Q's from people suffering like us, asking these same questions.
