Hey, so like most people here I've had poison ivy, quite severely, and then was to suffer from bouts of it randomly with no further contact with the plant in the same location as my initial infection. Though I haven't been reintroduced to the poison ivy plant that doesn't mean I haven't suffered contact with the allergen in poison ivy. I just learned mangoes and cashews are from the same family as poison ivy. What I've done in the last two weeks? I've eating at least a pound of raw cashews. I just suffered my worst re-outbreak. I think this is highly probable that like me, after getting poison ivy and becoming highly sensitive to the urushiol oil even the small doses in foods such as mangoes and cashews make one break out.
I'm almost positive this is my problem. I'm going to the doctor today. From reading other people's posts, I think this could also be your problems as well.
