I was climbing through some bushes to get to a beach in Norcal last weekend when my friend pointed out some poison oak that was already touching my left hand. The next day, I woke up with a small rash on the back of my hand. It was mild and didn't really itch, but yesterday (exactly one week later) I woke up with the rash having spread to my upper arms (both) and to my chest, neck, ears and chin. It's making my ears swell and is SO itchy. Not sure what to do - my friend said it could be systemic. Does this require a doctor visit - does anyone know?
