| Hi. First off, I'd do my homework and learn to identify poison ivy, oak and sumac. I read it takes several treatments to eradicate poison ivy. Keep the kids away from the spray too. Do you have pets that may be transmitting the oil to you or your children? Maybe set an area you know as "safe" aside for a play area. Could it be something else they may have an allergy to?
