There is definitely recurring poison ivy. I get it in the same place (my upper thigh) once or twice a year. I was told I probably got it from petting a dog that had been in the woods (I love dogs and pet every one I see) I was not exposed to it cause my shorts covered the area but I must have touched the dog and then scratched my leg. It has recurred in the same exact area once or twice every year..this year the worst! Good luck everyone. Clotrimazole cream works wonders.
