I don't know much about Poison Oak even though its all over my legs right now. Its not nearly as bad as Ivy. When I had Poison Ivy it lasted about a month or so. I had it everywhere. Even my ass. I used Technu ((or Teknu?) a special cleanser for Ivy that removes the poisonous oil)) as a body wash in the shower and the rash began to recede. So if it can stop Poison Ivy, then it will likely stop Poison Oak. Be patient with it though you have to use it over time. Probably around a week you SHOULD start seeing results. Should be able to find it in a pharmacy or grocery store. Good luck to you all.
P.S. When you scratch an Ivy rash it can take just seconds or minutes to spread and/or blister up. Watch out for that shit. Oak isn't so bad.
