day 8 itch turned into hot painfull swelling. i wouldnt even call it a rash anymore. feels like my leg is on fire and is swollen. little bumps turning up everywhere. fyi systemic reaction here. go to the doc dont mess around. they will give you a shot on the spot and send you home with cream and steroids.(i went to urgent care cost 120 + 55 for the meds. without insurance) lol take them, after the shot most of the intense pain went back to itching after a couple hrs. oh how nice to just have intense itching. also i never had a blister that popped or ozed like i here or see about. just leathery bumps. will start the pills in the morning. got my fingers crossed. if your rash is very hot and painfull put some ice on it . i use a frozen vodka bottle. dont over ice the spot. very easy to do becuase you cant feel a damn thing where the pain is. dont bother with any of the 40 dollar a oz crap either unless ur 100% sure its not systemic. im a 25yr old male and havent been to the doc for 4 years but this poison oak s*** is no joke.
