Im currently 31 years of age. When I was 11 I had come in contact with poison ivy on my fingers/hand. I get reaccuring break outs to this day on my fingers. It usally happens in humid/sweaty climate. Four months ago I came in contact with poison Ivy again on my rist and arm at work. I threw out all gloves and cloths. After thinking it was gone, I've been getting outbreaks in the same location. I believe it appears after I sweat and itches like hell. Then feels just like I have it again. The funny thing is, it will go away 4-24 hours later. I dont believe it does circulate in your system do to it reaccuring in the same area. But I do believe it stays under the skin in the same spot and you will have it for life. I wish I had a cure.
