I'm an acupuncture student and went to see the chinese doctor when my rash broke out. It was all over my body, covering my face. Both of my eyes were swollen, and my left was swollen shut. He gave me an herbal formula prescription and I began taking it the next day. It was gone in 3 days! He used a formula similar to something called "Lian Qiao Bai Du Pian", but in raw herb form, where you take the raw, dried herbs and decoct them to produce a tea to drink. I drank 4 doses of the tea each day for three days, and also applied it topically once each day. My rash was significantly better each day. The formula he wrote me was modified for my underlying conditions, but I'll list the ingredients here anyway:
Lian Qiao 10g, jin yin hua 10g, pu gong ying 15g, zi hua di ding 15g, rei xian pi 12g, huang qin 9g, chi shao 15g, fang feng 9g, xuan shen 15g, zhi zi 9g, chan tui 6g, sheng di huang 30g, huang bai 12g, cang zhu 8g, chuan xiong 4g, dang gui 6g, mu dan pi 15g, bai shao 15g.
Sorry, it's not a small formula. If you'd like to try it, go and see a qualified practitioner to modify it for you. The first 2 ingredients are the most important, and you'll likely see them in whatever they give you. Good luck! |
