to whomever can be of assistance,
i am trying everything to get rid of my poison ivy rash. unfortunately, i somehow got the rash in between my upper thighs. they were incredibly swollen until i started taking benedryl which has helped a little with the swelling. i was also bathing 3 times a day with an Ivarest cleanser, wiping the infected area down with alcohol, then applying Ivarest cream. the rash has spread to the side of my neck and face, to my hip, and i can see it is spreading around my thigh area. yesterday, i thought it may be healing. i really can't tell.
does anyone have any better ideas that do not involve going to the doctor? also, when do i know that my poison ivy is healing? any signs??
