| I can't believe I am not alone in this! After a relatively small poison ivy exposure on my forearms after weeding or wearing affected gloves, I did have a few itches and rashes here and there. However, after starting methylprednizolone pack, I broke out in hundreds of itchy little bumps around ankles, behind knees, up and down my thighs, butt, and larger scattered spots on my back. I'm covered with scratched scars and exposed bumps as I've been losing my mind. Was given 2 shots, have taken Benadryl, and am just finishing up the prednizone packs. However, still affected and miserable. Doctor made me feel like an immature baby for scratching so much! But it is insane! I'm a mess, and just have to hope these scars and horrible red sores disappear. And all this during a heat wave on humid Long Island, NY, AND having visited a sauna at our gym (right before the outbreak) Talk about auto-immune overdrive! |
