I have Virginia creeper growing (deliberatly) in a number of places in my yard and several lilac bushes. I've just noticed a new vine interspersed with both the creeper and lilacs. I'm trying to figure out what it is before I touch it. Most of the leaves are in groups of 3 but if one looks really hard there are a few that have 5 leaves; 2 below the top three. The shape of the leaves vary from place to place like p.i. so I may be the same species or it may be a different plant altogether. I'm not seeing arial rootlets but I don't know if would recognise them.
