I'm an artist. This fall, I went to a location to paint where I had to step among some brush. I was wearing long pants, a shirt and an overshirt of heavy corduroy. At one point I stupidly broke off a vine growing up a tree that was interfering with my movement which I am now pretty sure was poison ivy.
It wasn't until a good week and a half later that I began getting itches on the hand I used to break the vine, and a small patch at the outside corner of my eye where I likely rubbed my face.
The odd thing is that I've got an itchy rash all over my flanks and the front of one thigh. I had clothing covering that whole area. How could I have gotten a rash there? |
