I was so happy that I found this thread. I had severe PO on my ankle and some spots on my leg and arms in July of '08 and now in Sept. of '09 it is back in the exact locations with the same severity of each location. I had a cold/flu and had taken an antibiotic on the day the re-occurrence began. I had absolutely no re-exposure to PO or to anything I had used/worn when I initially contracted PO. I thought I was crazy!
I'm trying to deal with the large, weeping, itching area on my ankle now ( two weeks later) and the smaller spots, which had only turned red and a bit itchy have almost disappeared.
I know my doctor will not believe me and am hoping the large area will not become infected :)
