| I first came into contact with poison ivy a little more than two weeks ago. It took about 3 days before I finally broke out. I've been taking OTC Benadryl, and Ibuprofen. I've been on Prednisone and a steroid cream for 5 days now. I just took my last Prednisone pill this morning and the oozing and swelling is gone, but the rash keeps spreading, and the itch is unbearable. I have been washing my sheets, clothes, and bath towels every day, so I don't know where I could keep getting exposed to it. The rash started on my forearm and then moved onto my face. That is getting better, but its spreading all over my chest, belly, legs, and back. WHat do I do!!! |
