DONT SCRATCH IT - No matter how unbearable
Obviously no one knows exactly what this is. But, I got the same rash from being in an area with poison oak. Not sure if i actually got in the poison oak, but here are the surrounding variabls for my case.
I had got a good sunburn a few days before the rash showed, and like i said, was in an area with poison oak. I also had a dog with me, so I may have picked it up from him if i didnt get in it myself. Not sure if the poison oak plus sunburn creates this rash. And the folicalitus thing seems like it would be more of an ongoing (noticable) thing.
One thing i did get from the folicalitus site was maybe if you get in some poison oak and your pores clog up it could cause the small blisters or pimples that form on the rash.
Not a doctor or scientist, I just think too much. So thats all
just kind of a guess.
But what i do know is I had it for about 4 days before I found this site and got the Calagel. Its been about 5 days that ive been using it and its about gone. After like the firs two days the blisters started getting more defined to there own area (instead of spreading like they were). After that,a few of the bigger ones that formed together started to pop. Kept using the Calagel.
It would either sting, itch, or burn after putting it on. And I would try not to scratch it but softly rub around it, which would help stop the itching.
Now the small blisters that didnt pop and the big blisters that did have turned into like small scabs, or kind of dry blisters, if you will. And the redness that surounded the whole rash is just around the blisters.
The Calagel (not Caladryl which is pink) seems to be the key to getting rid of this stuff. If not than i will definately be posting again saying it came back and the stuff only worked temporarily. But it seems like most people dont post again. So it must have cleared up for them to.
All I can really say now is dont scratch and fight the burn. If it keeps up or comes back id just go see a doctor.
