| I experienced a delayed onset rash - mine took 9 days to come out an when it did, it did so with a vengeance; large oozing blisters and a secondary strep infection. The first doctors I saw did not treat it aggressively and when I stopped the 2+ weeks of prednisone, I started breaking out in blisters again. I was finally referred to a dermatologist 3 days ago who has started me on a higher and longer dose of prednisone to beat down my immune system response.
