| I have thorny vines running along the ground at the edge of the woods in my back yard which climb up anything they can find. The leaves match the poison ivy descriptions and pictures I have seen thus far. Problem I am having is.... none of the pictures have shown the vine with thorns present on the stocks. Does poison ivy have thorns on the vine? I live in Raleigh NC if that helps if necessary I can submit a photo, but if anyone knows for certain that poison ivy does not posses the thorny vine aspect it will help relieve my worries.
