| 2 years ago I weeded (unknowingly) a poison ivy patch for MIL. Terrible reaction, steroid treatments 2X. 6 mo later it flared up again and I went to a dermatologist who told me to avoid mangos (just bought a case) and cashews (had some at a neighbors) because it causes the rash to spread all over. I had it on my legs but then it was everywhere and I had another round or 2 of steroids. Now I have a few patches of perpetually itchy, red (and weepy if I shave which of course I have to) spots on my legs. Is there any help or hope for this to end? |
