Well I cut down a tree two weeks ago. I just moved from Los Angeles to Trinity, Al. After cutting down the tree my brother said "Did you cut down that poison oak also?" Well I guess I must have. About 5 days ago I woke up with 17 mosquito bites! Those damn bugs! I just happened to have a doctors appointment the next day. I asked the doctor what to do so the bites would stop itching. She took a look and said she needed to give me a prednisone shot for the poison oak. Now two days later I am covered with sores. I have tried everything. I am taking Zertec, and every otc anti itch cream I can come up with. It seems to get worse by the minute. I am going to urgent care in the am. Long winded as this was I think that it can take up to two weeks to show symptoms.
