I've always used the witch hazel instead of rubbing alcohol. Less burning... I keep a small bottle in my first aid kit at all times.
I posted a concoction years ago on this site with these ingredients.
1/3 peroxide
1/3 listerine type product
1/3 maalox type product
Mix all 3 together and swab on your sores. It really works great. I refrigerate the leftover mixture for later use. |
