I'm not allergic, so I haven't tried it, but the theory is sound. All of you who claim that you "would NEVER TRY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!! WE'LL ALL DIE!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!" are either forgetting or maybe unaware that you've already tried it yourselves with almost all of the vaccines you've taken as a child and since. The polio vaccine can give a child polio, for example, but it only does that a couple hundred times a year in the US, while it prevents polio in the other 299,999,800 of us. Quite obviously, if they are selling the oral medicine at your local pharmacy, the sky isn't falling yet. The only thing I would say about the more natural method of eating an actual leaf is that you wouldn't be able to dose accurately, so you wouldn't have any way of knowing whether the quantity of toxin you were ingesting was sufficient to provide immunity. The meds from your pharmacy seem like they would provide a more certain result. Accidental overdosing would also be eliminated with the pharmacy meds. |
