I would never burn firewood that has had poison iny on it in the house.The oil can stay in the wood for 1-5 years.I would burn it as a campfire wood only after it has set out side with all the poison ivy being removed at the time of cutting.I would not use it and until it has been in the elements for 5 years.

This is what the extension agency told me and there is still a small risk.
