Re: Blisters, oozing, and trying to wear pants|
I'm on day 14. Got one shot of prednisone at the doctors and then back to the ER the same day for intravenous dose of prednisone and some meds to help with the itch. My doctor said I could pop the blisters with a sterile needle. I used points of small scissors- but it's opening you up for infection. Once I popped the blisters they filled right back up. The following day I went back to the ER and was admitted for 6 nights. The blisters on my right arm remained and it was day 10. The wound nurse popped them on day 10 and they did not refill. I have not slept at all. I felt like I was no fire. Do the following: buy ice packs from CVS, take an Aveeno oatmeal bath, and consider going to the ER if its really bad. My arms finally stopped burning some and its day 14. I'm on prednisone for another week. Yesterday I called my doctor for sleeping pills b/c I have not slept in 14 days-- literally. I hope you feel better soon. Get more meds. |
