I have a recurring rash on my forearm, back and neck of poison oak which
I initially contacted on 12/25/07! Now it is 4/23/08!
I had it diagnosed by a doctor at that time (and am still dealing with the bills)
It is in the exact same locations on my body as it was initially and it itches very
intensely (can't sleep well - just like in december/january).
When I contracted the rash in december i immediately threw away some items,
washed several times other items, etc. But I am thinking it MUST be on
something.... I am going to get some new sheets, maybe a new foam mat for my mattress, new towels and try to deduce what garments, if any I can place as garments I wore around the time I first contracted the rash. Apparently the oil is very potent - once it is on your skin -from the plant - it can stay on fabrics and re-infect the skin over and over, with the rash.
