Some years back, I got contact dermatitis from a plant that looked like Poison Oak. The distinct characteristic, possible separating it from other plants, is that it actually had some sort of hairs on it. It was a plant with big, fuzzy leaves. It was something that was nearby that I happened to have grabbed. What a rash that it caused. I know that the physician that reviewed the contact dermatitis thought it was funny. I kinda did. The plant was growing in a pond area, near other trees and shrubbery. So, I'm not exactly sure whether or not that was Poison Oak, Ivy or something else that caused the contact dermatitis.
