| I have poison ivy right now and nursing my 3 month old. I spoke with the breastfeeding clinic and health unit today and both nurses have reassured me that a doctor can prescribe a "low dose" steriod that will not enter breast milk and my baby will not get poison ivy just because i have it, it is very rare to pass it on from person to person.
