I was just at the doctor for this yesterday and she said oozing is a good thing. She said it means my body is doing it's job. She did give me an antihistamine to help reduce the rash a bit because it's quite uncomfortable and she offered a shot of prednisone, but I declined. It just helps it heal a bit faster.
