The fallen leaves I referred to drop in the fall when it tends to get a little more windy in this area. The leaves are changing color at that point but many are still green - I tend to think they are not so much dropping as getting blown off. I assumed the oil remained somewhat active after being covered with snow most of the winter. I'd like the info you referred to however. Thank you Betsy D
