Kim's rash looks identical to the one my boyfriend currently has. He said that he was pulling roots up out of a hole he was digging for posts to put in for our grape vines and when the roots broke open, they weeped something fierce. I am not familiar w/poison ivy in any way, but his rash is extremely bad (5 days and spreading). By reading your website we have pin pointed that it is not related to his landscaping jobs that he has done for the past 20 years, but must be from digging and breaking these roots open. He said his arm rubbed up and down the hole while pulling stuff out. The rash is severely blistered up and down his bicep and forearm then he also has the rash around his neck at the hairline from one earlobe to the other. Nothing over the counter has worked. He is headed to the doctor today. But my question is, does PI just pop up where it was not before? Does it hibernate underground? We are checking the grapevine when we get home, but we had a very healthy vine last year with no rash issues for me. I have been in and out of this vine checking it for new growth, bugs, etc. this year and have had no skin issues so far. The funny thing is, I have extremely sensitive skin. So I ponder, where did this really come from?
