I have poison ivy all over my arms and legs, many of the clusters having a black spot or streak at their center. I have also been searching for information about these black spots as I fear they are contributing to the spreading of the poison ivy on my skin. My doctor prescribed a steroid cream Clobex to help with the itching but so far it has done very little.
