I am having the same problem right now. I feel your pain - more than I could ever wish to. :(
I have found that ample use of hot water, as hot as you can stand, then application of Tecnu, then rinsing off with more hot water, has been helpful. Right after the shower, I dry off and apply Gold Bond Medicated Powder. Additionally, I put a CLEAN wash cloth between he legs and underneath the scrotum to soak up any additional moisture that the Gold Bond doesn't pick up.
It is vital to keep the area as dry as possible and to wash multiple times a day. It is an area where the plan oils can stay for a long, long, long time.
