I got poison ivy on my back four days ago now. I've had poison ivy before, but it was just the regular bumps in spotted areas that weep a little.
My back started out looking like this and - I HAVE NOT BEEN SCRATCHING IT - has grown from a small spot on my lower back to covering the lower half of my entire back.
The problem I'm having is that it weeps CONTINUOUSLY. I've tried letting it try out, it just runs down my back. I've put paper towels on it - six layers at a time! - and its soaked through in an hour. I've put calamine lotion on it, I went to the doctor yesterday and am on medication but I am absolutely MISERABLE. Any advice? |
