| I am currently being treated for an exposure to poison ivy. I have received an injection of cortisone, taking oral prednisone, and applying a prescription cream(triamcinolone acetonide). After a week of oozing and itching in Las Vegas and the spread of the rash and blisters to multiple parts of my body, I had to seek medical help. Questions I have are: 1) How long will the rash spread after exposure? 2) Can my Yorkie give it to me from her trips outside? 3) If the oil gets say in my sheets, how long is it potent? I am apparently very allergic these plants, and any preventative information is appreciated. |
