You can eliminate poison oak oil from clothes by washing them, or you can just throw thriftstore clothing (ask for the FREE RACK if they have one) in the trash. While working in poison oak infested areas, consider used pants and long sleeve shirt as cheap insurance. You must also wear latex gloves, and throw them out. This method cost a whole two dollars, but what's avoiding poison oak worth? Rubber boots and gardening tools can be washed with Dawn liquid dishwashing soap.
