I feel for you. I hope you are healed by now. My son Ty (he's 8) has a severe reaction to poison ivy and I'm at a loss to know what to do. He was in the woods, not even close to an obvious poison ivy plant and it is spreading into rashes, blisters, oozing sores. His two other playmates didn't even have a reaction. I think the oil must have been airborne. Here's my concern, in the past he has been put on an oral steroid and had a extreme reaction to it. His doc put him on Elocon cream this time. My son claims his blisters are extremely painful. He cry's in pain (and he usually doesn't cry easy) Does anyone have a suggestion? It kills me to see him this way. He has it on his face, truck, arm and between two fingers.ThankS!
